Elaboration and aging

Azpilicueta Crianza is made from the varieties Tempranillo (85%), Graciano (10%), and Mazuelo (5%). For its production, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25ºC, after which it macerates for about 12 days.

After the vinification process, Azpilicueta Crianza undergoes 12 months of aging in French and American oak barrels, followed by another 6 months of resting in the bottle to refine its characteristics.
