ArteSanas was born in 2012 when Africa Aparicio, after having been working uninterruptedly since the age of 18, became unemployed in the midst of a crisis. After searching without much success for a livelihood, he decided to enter the world of artisan pastries, a world about which he knew nothing.

Thanks to the traditional recipes that her mother prepared for a household with many children and reproducing them faithfully, she makes daily pastries of the highest quality and with the best raw materials.

Six years later, established in more than 30 stores in the city of Cuenca and province, he directs a team made up of 4 people, with the idea of recovering the tradition of artisan elaboration to the detriment of the industrial pastries so widespread today full of additives and fats of doubtful origin and quality.
