- Alion is a red wine belonging to the Ribera del Duero denomination of origin made from 100% tinta fina grapes.

- The Aalto red wine. It is a red wine made from 100% Tinto Fino grapes from very old vines aged between 40 and 80 years old. The grapes are harvested by hand, in small boxes of 15 kilos and are carefully inspected, bunch by bunch, to guarantee optimum quality. This red wine is aged for an average of 16 months in 50% new French and American oak barrels.
Tasting notes of Estuche Alion + Aalto
- Alion has a concentrated, dark colour, but with a luminous and seductive edge, typical of its few years of youth but seasoned in the wood. The aroma is revealed with an intensity not often found in wines from the Ribera del Duero appellation. The roasted nuances of the grape and the toasted nuances of luxurious wood appear. On the palate, the sweetened tannins of concentrated black fruit combine with the sweet, creamy tannins of French oak. It is flavoursome, powerful, fleshy, with a truly evocative display of nuances.
- Aalto is a cherry red wine. On the nose it shows notes of red fruits with subtle hints of spices and touches of fine, well-integrated wood. In the mouth it is fresh, with good density and volume, with the typical aftertaste of liquorice, coffee and tobacco, always within the personality of the Aalto style.
