Fontaine Gagnard Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Boudriotte 2018

Fontaine Gagnard Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Boudriotte is a white wine made from Chardonnay by Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard.

The chardonnay grapes of Boudriotte come from a single plot: Les Fairendes. Its soils are filtered, semi-deep and with small stones. One of the late ripening Crus in Chassagne. It produces intense wines, very mineral and with many layers of aromas and flavours.

In Burgundy, tradition is deeply rooted, and winemaking at Fontaine-Gagnard is no exception. All wines are vinified with indigenous yeast. The whites are aged for one year and the reds for 18 months in barrels made by the domaine.

Fontaine-Gagnard is one of the finest traditional domaines in the Côte d'Or, a true Chassagne specialist, producing excellent wines that set the bar high with each vintage and reflect its wide range of great terroirs.
