Meet the producer

Our citrus fruits come most of the year from Tavernes de Valldigna (Valencia), a small town nestled in a wide valley, which has a special microclimate for the cultivation of these excellent products, which gives them an extreme quality and flavour that makes them highly recognized in the world.

Our citrus fruits come from Tavernes de Valldigna (Valencia)

Basi is our producer and he has been dedicated to it since he was very young, being already the third generation to develop this worthy profession. He only works with the techniques of sustainable agriculture and from his trees, continuously pampered, he offers us excellent oranges, tangerines, pomegranates and kakis

After harvesting and selecting the best products, we separate them into boxes and you receive them in just 24 hours at your home or office.

Various tips about mandarins

  1. To take advantage of all the benefits of mandarins, it is advisable to store the fruit in a cool place and not to eat it hot (such as boiled, for example) because heat can cause the fruit to lose much of its nutrients
  2. It is advisable to keep tangerines at room temperature to prevent the cold from deteriorating their properties, aroma, texture or flavour
  3. Washing mandarins before storing them is not recommended, as contact with water can cause fungal growth, spoiling the fruit
  4. How to make tangerine tea? With the water boiling, add the peels (or zest grated from the peel) and boil for about three minutes. The tea can be consumed hot or cold. It is best not to let it sit for too long so that it does not become too bitter.
  5. It is best to let it sit for too long so that it does not become too bitter
  6. It is recommended to let the tangerine peels dry in the sun for a few days before consuming them. After this, store them in a tightly sealed package in the refrigerator (being able to consume them for two months).
