The persimon persimmon is a variety of persimmon, also called "bright red", which has a compact flesh a little softer than an apple and harder than a peach, and a soft and sweet taste, but not too much, so they are consumed as fresh fruit (not at all like the persimmon eaten with a spoon, which is much sweeter and softer)
