Finca: Altenbourg, just below the Grand Cru Furstentum. Loam and gravelly soils. Calcareous, with a stony structure and a steep slope completely exposed to the south.

Vineyards: By means of biodynamic viticulture we try to transfer the balance of natural forces to the soil and the vines. Short pruning is used to keep production low. No chemical fertilizers, herbicides or systemic pesticides are used.
Harvesting: Manual, grapes picked at optimum ripeness, with some Botrytis.

Making: Gentle pressing of whole bunches in pneumatic presses. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts that increase the depth and complexity of the wines in old oak barrels. No new wood is used to preserve the fruity characteristics of the Alsatian varieties. The wine is bottled between May and November.alcohol content:14.00% Vol.
Tasting notes: Deep and delicate aromas of pear, grapes and figs, combined with honeyed and smoky notes. Bright and well-structured, it is a wine with a great concentration in the mouth that stands out for its subtle notes of minerals and spices as well as its pleasant freshness. Perfect balance and sublime finish
