PROPERTIES:

• Flax crops were abundant throughout Europe, but they decreased until the 1980s, reaching the early 1990s where they were practically nonexistent in our country. But since the mid-1990s, they have increased again in Spain, mainly destined for the industry, for the use of fiber and oil. Organic brown flax seeds provide us with a large amount of fiber, vitamins, and minerals.

PREPARATION:

• Organic brown flax seeds can be consumed whole or ground in pastries, baked goods, smoothies, or sprinkled on your favorite salad. They can also be used to make beverages by adding 3 to 5 tablespoons of flax seeds per liter of water, boiling, squeezing lemon, and sweetening. It can be consumed cold or hot.
