A Torna Dos Pasas is a red wine made by Luis Anxo Rodríguez in Arnoia, D.O. Ribeiro., with Brancellao, Caíño Longo, Caíño Redondo and Ferrol.
Luis Anxo Rodríguez created a small family tradition winery in Paixón, municipality of Arnoia in 1988. It has 2.7 hectares of vineyards spread over 29 plots.
A Torna Dos Pasas Escolma is a red wine made with Brancellao, Caíño Longo, Ferrol and Caíño Redondo, from the oldest vineyards of the winery, planted on sandy-siliceous soils on slopes.
The harvest is done manually. Each variety undergoes separate fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. It is aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. The wine is refined in bottle for a minimum of 3 years before being released to the market.
