The company was created
The company began, first, with the manufacture of handmade nougat and sweets for the Christmas season. The sales would be produced at provincial level. In later years it would incorporate the manufacture of confectionery products and derivatives for ice cream as in liquid nougat, thus achieving a continuous line of work throughout the year, Christmas season and summer season
From the beginning we have always tried to maintain the same line of work oriented to the quality of the product, as well as the artisan method of its manufacture, according to the customs of Jijón
In 1990 his son Ricardo Coloma Verdú joined the company, combining youth and experience. During the 90's, improvements were made in the manufacturing process and in the company's infrastructures, which allowed in 2001 the implementation of the ISO-9001 Quality System registered by AENOR
In 2003 its manufacturing and packaging processes, both of the nougats and sweets and other creations, are recognized with the mark of Craftsmanship of the Valencian Community
As a family business, the line of work has always been to offer a high quality product with unbeatable raw materials that can give to offer their customers full confidence
Their most famous products throughout the national territory are the specialties: Turrón de Jijona and Turrón de Alicante
