Dolç de Mataró is a sweet red organic wine made with the Mataró (Monastrell) variety by the Pujol-Busquets Family.
Dolç de Mataró: The grapes are harvested when they begin to overripen but before the shriveling process starts. After destemming and careful grain selection, the grapes are placed in stainless steel tanks. Maceration takes place for 6 months, during which daily punch-downs are initially performed and later switched to weekly. After a light pressing, the wine is aged for 2 months in French oak barrels before being bottled.
