Lanius is the essence of Alella expressed through the maturity of the best chardonnay grapes. Only the fruit from the oldest vines is part of Lanius and it is also harvested in multiple passes to ensure that each cluster reaches optimal maturity. Its fermentation and aging take place in French oak barrels, long-time partners of the chardonnay grape, which contribute their richness and toasted aromas to the wine.
