Amaren Crianza wine

Production and Aging

Amaren Crianza is a blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Garnacha. Manual harvest, collected in baskets and transferred to the winery for selection on a double table, clusters and then grapes. Only the perfect grapes will continue their process. Both varieties have been harvested, processed and aged separately in order to extract their maximum potential and later create an aromatic ensemble. Tempranillo contributes finesse and elegance to the wine, typical of the variety and faithful expression of the characteristics of the best soils in Rioja Alavesa. Garnacha is the ideal complement to transmit its particular notes of red fruit that bring freshness and delicacy to the wine.

It has been aged for 12 months in barrels.

Tasting Notes of Amaren Crianza

• Appearance: Amaren Crianza has a well-covered cherry red color.
• Nose: Intense on the nose, where dairy nuances and hints of ripe red fruit intertwine. In the background, wood appears with notes of cedar wood and undergrowth.
• Palate: Powerful on the palate but with elegance, enveloping passage with balance from start to finish. Finish with notes of red fruit, typical of Garnacha.

Pairing

Amaren Crianza is ideal to accompany aged cheeses, cured meats, and stewed lamb. It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
