As Caborcas Tinto 2020

As Caborcas is a single varietal red wine from Valdeorras, carefully crafted from Mencía, Merenzao, Sousón, Garnacha, Godello, Brencellao and other varieties, all coming from 80-year-old vineyards located on granitic terraces along the Bibei River. This wine fermented in small oak and stainless steel vats, and then underwent a gentle ageing process in 1,500 and 2,000 litre foudres for 15 months.

This vintage of As Caborcas is characterised by its precision, balance and purity, as well as its freshness.

It is an elegant and complex wine, enjoyable for its juiciness and flavour. Its tannins are very fine and it leaves a long aftertaste on the palate.
