Bottega Collio is a red wine from the DOC Collio. A wine that expresses the vocation and potential of this area rich in history, tradition and energy.
In the extreme northeast of Italy, Collio extends in the northern hilly strip of the province of Gorizia, near the border with Slovenia. Washed by the Adriatic Sea, it lies between the Judrio river to the east and the lsonzo to the south.
It is a very pleasant place to visit
It pairs well with hors d'oeuvres, vegetable soups, light meat risottos, boiled chicken, vegetable dishes and grilled fish. It is also perfect as an aperitif.
Tasting notes by Bottega Collio
Bottega Collio is bright. Golden yellow with coppery reflections. Intense aroma, broad and refined, it opens with floral notes among which acacia and hawthorn stand out. It evolves towards fruity aromas reminiscent of peach, pineapple and pink grapefruit and closes with a delicate mineral note.
Generous, smooth and harmonious, it presents the typical characteristics of this grape: good acidity in perfect balance with pleasant softness and with a good structure.
