Bruno Giacosa Falletto Vigna Le Rocche Riserva is a red wine made from the Nebbiolo grape variety by Bruno Giacosa in the Barolo DOCG Appellation, Piedmont
In 1980, Bruno Giacosa acquired the Falletto estate, which covers a total of 13 hectares (26 acres) in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba. This estate is considered by Giacosa to be the best area for producing elegant, long-lived Barolos. The Falletto vineyard is located on steep, southwest-facing slopes with amphitheater-shaped calcareous clay soils.

The Falletto estate has a single parcel known as Vigna Le Rocche, where the oldest vines are located. These vines produce grapes that are vinified and bottled separately from the rest of the estate.

Falletto wines, according to Giacosa, are characterized by austerity, elegance and aromatic complexity. They show excellent structure and soft tannins.

The fermentation and maceration process of this wine is carried out for 25 days in stainless steel vessels. Malolactic fermentation has been fully developed, which contributes to the smoothness and complexity of the wine. The wine then undergoes a 36-month refinement period in oak barrels, followed by an additional 24 months of maturation in the bottle. During this time, the wine is refined and develops its distinctive characteristics before it is ready to be enjoyed.
