The cabbage is grown in temperate climates, its season is from September to January and different varieties are disitnguen, among which are:

• Berza or Cabbage verdi-white smooth: it is the most common
• White cabbage or curly cabbage or Crespo or Savoy cabbage.
• Red cabbage or red cabbage or purple cabbage.
• Chinese cabbage or Akusai.

• Chinese cabbage: rich in vitamins C, A, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and folates.

• Cauliflower: rich in fiber, vitamin C, sugar and phosphorus
