Carabibas VS 2019

Carabibas VS is a red wine produced by Bodegas Sierra de Cabreras in Salina with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Monastrell grapes. The vintage with the highest score by Robert Parker was 2011 with a score of 92 points.

The vineyards are located on limestone soils with excellent permeability and drainage, which provide optimal conditions for viticulture. To guarantee the good quality of their grapes, they use no more than two kilograms of vines to concentrate all the strength of the plant. Winter pruning, thinning and minimum yield green pruning. The ageing in fine grain French oak barrels gives their wines a unique aromatic balance.

Carabibas VS Tasting Notes

Intense and expressive nose with notes of forest fruits, violets and delicate wood, with soft cocoa powder, lactic and some balsamic notes.

In the mouth it is ample, bold, with sweet and juicy tannins, good acidity, long and structured.
