Carmelo Rodero 9 Months Carmelo Rodero 9 Months 2022 is a magnificent single-varietal Tempranillo wine made with vines between 8 and 20 years old and perfected with 9 months of aging in French oak. It is produced by Carmelo Rodero, who, in 1990, after many years of selling his grapes to prestigious wineries such as Vega Sicilia, built his first winery and began one of the most brilliant careers in the history of the Ribera del Duero D.O. Located in Pedrosa del Duero (Burgos), Bodegas Rodero has positioned itself as one of the leading wineries in Ribera del Duero thanks, in large part, to the excellent quality of its vineyards. The exquisite care that the winery gives to the grapes is its priority. Each of its wines comes from a specific plot, taking into account the age of the plants, the type of soil, their orientation, and exposure. A meticulous work that also includes the selection of the most appropriate barrels for aging each wine. Carmelo Rodero's daughter, Beatriz, currently directs the winemaking.
