More information

Henriot Millésimé 2006 is a champagne made by Maison Henriot with 100% Grand Cru and Premier Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes.

2006 was a year full of contrasts. The season started with a dry winter, compounded by a cold spring. Finer and warmer weather followed until violent storms ravaged the Champagne region of Champagne in a cool August. Heavy rains soaked the chalk soils in the vineyards. The sunny weather returned just in time for the harvest, ensuring that the grapes were fully ripe. Harvest began on 13 September and went very well under splendid sunshine.

The Vintage Brut 2006 is a blend of equal parts chardonnay and pinot noir. Made exclusively from Premier and Grand Crus wines from the Montagne de Reims, which have rested in the cellars for six long years, it is a perfectly balanced champagne.
