More information

Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée 746 is a champagne made by combining raw material from 28 hectares of estate vineyards located in different crus and a small percentage of grapes provided by external suppliers.

Jacquesson, one of the historic champagne houses in Dizy, has left a lasting mark on the industry. Over 200 years ago, it received recognition from Napoleon Bonaparte with a gold medal for the excellence of its cellar, a testament to its exceptional quality. After the death of Adolphe Jacquesson, the name experienced a period of decline until it was acquired in 1974 by Jean Chiquet, who set out to restore it to its former splendour.

Jacquesson 746 is a meticulous blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and chardonnay, finished at a very low dosage, less than one gram per litre, allowing the purity of the fruit to shine through. The Jacquesson vineyards enjoyed optimal health during the harvest, which was characterised by an abundance of grapes with excellent ripeness and moderate acidity. The result is wines of exceptional elegance and finesse.

This vintage promises amazing potential and, as we have learned over the years, Jacquesson's numbered series has been noted for its incredible consistency, with the 746 being a testament to this. With a solid reputation in the industry, Jacquesson continues to impress with its commitment to quality and excellence, offering renowned champagnes that never cease to amaze.
