An old edition of the "Grands vins de Bordeaux" describes the Grand Vin of Château l'Évangile as "...a full and elegant wine endowed with an incomparable bouquet and finesse". Indeed, for numerous aficionados this wine is characterized by its elegant and subtle quality.
2015 was a year of ideal conditions. After a fairly mild winter, the vineyard began its vegetative cycle in early April. Spring brought pleasant temperatures and the occasional rain. Flowering was rapid and uniform, which boded well for a bountiful harvest.
