The Parede variety is a very sweet and tasty chestnut, native to the Bierzo region. Small in size and very easy to peel. Its unmistakable sweet flavor makes it suitable for any culinary preparation, roasted, cooked, in cfema, jams, as an accompaniment to meats, etc.
