Since 1994, we have been innovating and consolidating our Plazuelo artisan flavor.
We carefully and artisanally make our own cheeses, with different maturation times, types of milk, and presentation formats.
The best raw material, fantastic Milk from the Valle de los Pedroches, collected daily, fresh, and meeting the highest quality standards throughout the process.
From the beginning, we have focused our efforts on creating 100% Natural cheeses, without any additional additives, 100% Artisan Flavor.
Quesos Plazuelo products have been recognized with several awards and recognitions.
In 2008, we won two third prizes in the categories of "semi-cured sheep cheese" and "semi-cured goat cheese" at the Artisan Cheese Competition of Andalusia 2008, held in Baena by the Association of Artisan Cheesemakers.
In 2022, we were awarded the first prize in the category of "semi-cured goat cheese" at the Quesierra Cheese Fair 2022 held in Villamartín (Cádiz).
In 2023, we won the first prize in the category of "Best creative cheese" with our Mediterranean Lactikus, at the Quesierra Cheese Fair 2023, held in Villamartín (Cádiz).
Additionally, Quesos Plazuelo is certified with the Rural Quality seal of Los Pedroches, a seal promoted by the EU that highlights products made in rural areas.
