TASTING NOTES of Diego Rivera Crianza wine
Visual phase: Clean and bright appearance, it stands out with its cherry red color, with weak violet hues, which indicates that this wine still maintains some youthful characteristics.
Olfactory phase: It has a good aromatic intensity and although complex tertiary aromas formed during aging initially bloom, as the wine opens up, new sensations emerge and soft spices and reminders of primary aromas of forest fruits and ripe berries appear, creating a combination of variety and wood, which undergoes a slow reduction process in the bottle.
Gustatory phase: It shows a good body, being smooth on the palate and with a certain sensation of freshness. Intense flavors, the black fruits of the variety can be appreciated again mixed with certain notes of toasted flavors and banana, both provided by the barrel. In general, it stands out for its good structure and balance, fine and elegant tannins that give a very pleasant volume.
It should be noted that this wine has not undergone any physical-chemical treatments for tartaric stabilization, so a natural precipitate of potassium bitartrate and coloring matter may appear in the bottle, which does not affect the quality of the wine.
