Domaine Gramenon Le Papesse 2021

Domaine Gramenon Le Papesse is a red wine made by Domaine Gramenon in Côtes du Rhone with the Grenache variety.

It is made from 100% Grenache from old vines, about 60 years old, at 350 metres above sea level on the slopes of the town of Montbrison sur Lez and the Gramennon plateau. The soil varies from whitish clay and loam to sand and gravel.

Domaine Gramenon has become one of the most important wine producers in the Rhône Valley. Located at the northern end of the southern valley, it produces wines of unique character and mature terroir, made naturally, without added sulphur or filtration.

Lively aromas of fresh red and black fruits, cherries and redcurrants. Aromas of violets. Mineral and balsamic finish.Dry wine with freshness, balance, roundness and well-defined tannins. Long and appetising.
