El Secreto 3 RB 2016

El Secreto 3 RB is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero made from Tempranillo by Entrecanales Domecq e hijos.

With Tempranillo and manual harvest. In the winery, the fruit is selected and destemmed. It undergoes a pre-fermentation maceration for 4 days and alcoholic fermentation is carried out in concrete eggs. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and remains in the bottle for approximately 18 months before being released onto the market.

Tim Atkin has rated the Secreto collection very positively, including this Secreto 3 from Ribera Burgalesa, with 94 points among the 100 best wines that represent the character of Ribera del Duero.

A wine of great power with a marked presence of red fruit and a fleshy palate.

It is also a fine wine, very pleasant to drink, persistent. It is opulent, fleshy, with a clear fruity presence, very balanced and with a long finish.
