Er Boquerón beer is the first and only craft beer in the world made with seawater. Er Boquerón is a very easy to drink, refreshing, blond beer that has no added gas. It is not filtered or pasteurized.
Made with the German Purity Law of 1516, Er Boquerón beer is made from four ingredients: seawater, barley malt, hops, and yeast.
This craft beer undergoes a double fermentation unlike industrial beers. The seawater used to make it is pure, obtained from one of the cleanest and richest marine flora areas in the Mediterranean Sea. The extraction point is continuously analyzed to guarantee its purity and quality. The seawater used is supplied by Mediterránea Agua de Mar, awarded with two gold stars at the 2014 ITQi contest for its quality and flavor.
