Hennessy VSOP

Hennessy VSOP is a VSOP (Very Special Old Pale) style blended cognac, made from more than 60 eaux-de-vie or eaux-de-vie blended to perfection and aged for 15 years in oak casks to achieve great harmony and balance

The eaux de vie selected to create Hennessy VSOPare noted for their well-structured character and ability to evolve well over several years. Smooth and powerful, these eaux-de-vie exhibit an excellent ability to mature in casks, where they will evolve to their full potential

This is a version inspired by the cognac created in 1817 for the future King George IV of Great Britain, who while still a prince expressly requested a VSOP to Maison Hennessy, founded in 1765. Today it is one of the best-known brandies in the world.

Tasting note of Hennessy VSOP

Hennessy VSOP has aromas of spice mixed with subtle notes of vanilla and mild tobacco. Toasty wood notes are imparted by the long and stable maturation in casks.

Balance and harmony, thanks to the blend of older eaux-de-vie with younger ones. Subtle notes of brown sugar and candied fruits are complemented by gentle hints of spice. As complete as it is harmonious, this balance allows for a wide range of uses, in a long drink or in a cocktail.
