Technical data:
Their pigs spend the first stage of their lives on their farm, feeding on natural cereals made in their facilities until they reach a weight of between 40 and 50kg, when they access the pastures.
There, they enjoy an exquisite diet composed of this selection of cereals in addition to grass, tubers, roots, and acorns, reaching 90/100kg in early October (when the montanera begins), a moment when the acorns fall and they feed exclusively on them until reaching an approximate weight of 180kg in their adult stage. This is essential to maintain the Iberian breed and be able to call it acorn-fed Iberian.
These Iberian hams, due to the breed that characterizes them and their exquisite diet, have a cane of elongated and stylized shape with a golden and fluid fat on their outer part, while on their inner part they show a pink and melting appearance that floods the mouth with intense and prolonged nuances.
