Jose Pariente Varietal Verdejo

Varieties: 100% verdejo, made with grapes from 30-year-old vineyards owned by the family, and old vines from small vinegrowers. Tasting notes: Sight: it shows a bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Smell: intense, elegant, fresh, and complex. It exhibits a marked fruity tone, ranging from white fruits (pear, peach), citrus fruits, and passion fruit. Additionally, there are notes of fennel, underbrush, and a balsamic aniseed background. Taste: the notes of fresh fruit reappear. It is unctuous, luscious, and elegant with a soft touch of final bitterness, characteristic of the verdejo variety. It has a great structure that enhances its persistence. Serving temperature and pairing: Ideal serving temperature is 6-8º C. It is a wine suitable for appetizers and accompanying fish, seafood, pasta, rice, and white meat dishes. It pairs well with smoked foods, mild cheeses, and serrano ham.
