La Poda Mencía is a red wine from the D.O. Valdeorras 100% Mencía.

Taking care of the vine, expressing the varietal typicity, acquiring a fruit full of health and quality. With the Mencía pruning we seek to obtain the best grapes to produce an honest wine, the best wine, which vindicates the art of viticulture.

Vineyards located throughout the Valdeorras Valley on a wide variety of soils. A serious and intense wine, but at the same time fresh and fruity.

Tasting notes of La Poda Mencía

Colour: Plum

Aroma: Good fruity intensity reminiscent of black fruit and violet flowers of the fig tree, as well as certain touches of chocolate.

Taste: In the mouth it is fresh and light, very lively and structured at the same time.
