La Prohibición Tinto Dulce Natural 2011

La Prohibición is a natural sweet red wine made from Garnacha Tintorera by Bodegas Pittacum in the D.O. Bierzo.

The capricious nature of Bierzo rarely offers us a dry, cold and sunny autumn. The grapes, exposed to the freezing nights and the slight midday heat, lose water and gain sugar and acidity.

A late harvest, at the gates of winter, leads us to an unrepeatable natural raisining of the bunches of grapes carried by our centenary Garnacha Tintorera vines.

This rarity gives shape to a unique sweet wine, extraordinary, rare and capable of seducing all the senses.
