Laphroaig Select takes its name from the special selection of American and European casks, chosen by their unique character that occur during maturation.

Its spirit arises after a final maturation in new barrels of American oak, seldom used for the aging of Scotch whisky.

Bottled with its natural color, the result is an exquisite Laphroaig with our characteristic and penetrating smell of peat, coupled with the complexity and depth that brings fusion of aging styles and different oaks.

Laphroaig Select Tasting Note

Laphroaig Select is totally natural color without added caramel.

First peat Aroma, ripe red fruits after the PX and odorous barrels. A dry touch next to the American oak with a long and persistent finish, marzipan and even limes at the end.

This full-bodied whiskey is initially sweet on the nose, and then the classic dry, peaty, flavors of a rich finish that emerge from the notes of the European barrels.
