Vineyards and Climate
The vineyards are located at an altitude of 450 meters in Cuzcurrita. They have a north-south exposure and an extreme continental climate, which preserves the acidity and freshness of the whites.
Soils
The vines grow in shallow alluvial soils with surface gravel, with low water retention. They are warm, favoring ripening through the absorption of heat from the stones.
WINEMAKER
Rodolfo Bastida is the conductor of the winery. He is responsible for transmitting the style and unique personality of Ramón Bilbao to our wines, and with Límite Norte, this personality is reflected in a wine as unusual as it is special.
PRODUCTION AND AGING
Cold maceration in Maturana Blanca, to enhance the primary aromas and tannins of the variety. Fermentation in concrete and aging on lees in concrete, amphorae, and 600L barrels. Blending and aging in 225L French oak barrels for 6 months and more than 12 months in the bottle.
TASTINGPale yellow color, clean and bright. Medium intensity, with aromas of citrus fruit, fresh stone fruit, notes of white flowers, subtle barrel aromas, and tertiary notes. On the palate, it is fresh with excellent acidity and gentle tannins. A harmonious, balanced white with a long finish.
SERVICE AND PAIRINGIdeal serving temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC. It pairs wonderfully with dishes of white meats, truffle chicken, creamy cheeses, and fatty fish.
