Bodegas Martúe, located in La Guardia (Toledo), is a project promoted by Fausto González, who around 1990 planted the first two hectares of vineyards with the dream, now a reality, of owning his own winery where one of the highest quality Castilian-La Mancha wines in the region would be produced. For this purpose, the place chosen was La Guardia, an ideal area to become a first-class wine producer.nea.Con Fausto González, the main protagonist of the project, in 2000, together with two nationally renowned businessmen and two friends, promoted the creation of the winery to produce a wine with personality, which was launched on the market in July 2002.Thus, with grapes from its own vineyards, the most modern technical advances and an exceptional winemaker, Ignacio de Miguel, Martúe wines have been competing in the national and international market for five years now, under the Geographical Indication Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla.
