Production and aging

Melior is a single-varietal Tempranillo wine. The grapes come from vineyards owned by Pago Villabuena, planted on Franco-sandy-clayey soil at about 800 meters above sea level. Melior ages for 6 months in new American oak barrels and another 6 months in the bottle.

Fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature and in a controlled manner.
