Mezcal Real Minero Largo is made from maguey Largo, which is part of the Agave karwinskii family. Minero Largo can be really spicy with just a few peanuts and coconut. The master mezcalero is Edgar Angeles Carreño who uses the distillation system called olla de barro (clay pot).
