MICROBARRIQUE Cognac

Microbarrique is an atypical XO cognac of the 1998 vintage from a parcel located in the Cretaceous strata (Middle Cenomanian). The ageing of this cognac was completed with a short finish in a 10-litre micro-cask, previously burnt for 55 seconds with a flame in contact (crocodile heating).
Objective: to use the carbon layer previously formed by this innovative process to capture certain aldehydes and thus obtain a round and smooth cognac. Reduction to 43% vol. with local spring water. Unblended, uncoloured, unsweetened, unfiltered.
A single ambition: to reconcile lovers of Speyside malt whiskies with a cognac easy to drink.

On the nose: gourmet and delicate aroma.
Tertiary tropical aromas on the palate: toasted pineapple, banana flambé, overripe mango, bourbon vanilla.
Alcoholic content: 43% VOL.
