Cardhu 12 Years is a Scotch single malt type, with an alcoholic graduation of 40.0%, obtained by distillation in small batches through a slow process and aged 12 years in oak barrels.This whisky is produced in Speyside, Scotland, in the Cardhu Distillery founded in the year 1824 by John Cumming. It is claimed that this Cardhu 12 years owes its flavor and its characteristics to the climatic conditions of the place in which it is prepared and to the icy waters of the Spey Glacier River with which it is mixed.
