Mira Salinas is a Red Wine produced by Bodegas Sierra Salinas, made with Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet and Petit Verdot. Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
TASTING: Intense and deep red, complex nose with notes of ripe fruit (blackberries, red plums) and elegant spices. In the mouth it is silky and delicate, at the same time opulent and fleshy, but with a very present fruitiness. Long and balanced.
VARIETIES: Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet and Petit Verdot.
VINEYARD AGE: Monastrell 35 years old, Cabernet Sauvignon 20 years old, Alicante Bouschet 30 years old and Petit Verdot 13 years old.
SOIL: Stony limestone, poor in organic matter.
ALTITUDE: 680 m.
HARVEST: From September to October.
