Mureda Gran Cuvee Sparkling Wine is produced in the Sierra Alcaraz vineyards. The climate here is a temperate Mediterranean with a mountainous character and average annual rainfall. The temperature contrast between day and night creates a slow and progressive ripening process, which enhances the accumulation of aromas and flavors in the grapes. In addition, there is increased radiation, which facilitates photosynthesis and intensifies the color of the grape berries. The Mureda House exhibits characteristics of Moorish art, which developed in the Christian kingdoms of the Iberian Peninsula but incorporated Hispanic-Muslim influences. The more than 1,200 hectares that make up the Mureda lands are located between the Montiel Fields, the Alcaraz Mountains, and the Calatrava Fields, a welcoming environment and the birthplace of Spanish history.
