Narupa Alalá is a white wine made with 100% Albariño grapes in the Rías Baixas DO by the Narupa Vinos winery.
Narupa Alalá is a white wine aged on lees, which gives it a very elegant and pleasant mouthfeel. This wine dispels the myth that white wine should be consumed within the year.
It is made from Albariño vines planted in siliceous soils of granitic origin and sandy texture. Sustainable viticulture is achieved through organic practices and zero residue. The grapes are then pressed and undergo a brief maceration in the vineyard of Narupa Alalá.
The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with native yeasts, and the wine rests on its lees for 12 months. Finally, it ages in the bottle for a year and a half or two before being released to the market.
It has an acidity reminiscent of apricot and citrus, which remains fresh despite the grapes being harvested after the rainy season that marks the harvest.
