More information

Ingredients: 100% spelt flour (triticum spelta)

Contains gluten. May contain traces of legumes, soy, sesame, and nuts.

To make this spelt flour, the raw material is brought from a farmer in the area who grows authentic Asturian spelt ecologically and certified by C.O.P.A.E, resulting in a cereal whose protein content is over 14%, highlighting the presence of the 8 essential amino acids;

It also has more flavor and is more digestible than white wheat; being the original seed produces fewer allergic symptoms, it also provides a lot of fiber and silicic acid: one of the most necessary nutrients in our body as it helps in the reconstruction of tissues and organs.

Asturian spelt stimulates the body's immune system, as it has a high content of vitamin B. Among the minerals it provides are sodium, potassium, iron, magnesium, and calcium. Furthermore, the fat contained in spelt is mainly of the unsaturated type.

It does not contain cholesterol and is rich in essential fatty acids. Its high content of Tryptophan has positive effects on the overall well-being of the body and mind as it contributes to the production of serotonin.

It is ground in a 100% artisanal-traditional way in a water mill at low revolutions and with special stones called French stones that are specific for spelt wheat and rye, resulting in exceptional flour respecting all the properties of spelt. After being ground, they sift it in a traditional sieve with an intermediate mesh to preserve some bran, giving the flour a more appetizing color and imparting an extra flavor.
