Oscar Mestre Giró is a small-production, artisanal red wine made from 100% Giró grapes by Oscar Mestre, with principles of minimal intervention in the winemaking process and viticulture.
Red wine made from 100% Giró grapes, fermented in small stainless steel tanks. Careful destemming to obtain the whole berry and infusion with great care to avoid extracting harshness.
Oscar Mestre Giró Tasting Notes
Appearance: Bright cherry red colour, medium-low robe.
Nose: Great aromatic potential where we would highlight the delicacy of the wine. We will find expression of scrubland, flowers, lots of fresh red fruit.
Palate: Subtle and balanced wine. Round and friendly tannin with good acidity. It is a fruity red wine, very sweet and elegant. With a marked personality with wild herbaceous touches that make it a unique and special wine. The barrel accompanies the wine, giving it length and elegant depth.
Pairing: These are subtle and elegant wines that require dishes that do not compete in terms of relevance. This grape gives wines with which to fuse subtle aromas, where the spices do not stand out. It goes well with mushroom-based dishes, creamy sauces, soft soft cheeses, duck, partridge, white fish such as turbot or suckling lamb.Serving temperature: 16-17ºC
