Palmeri Adán - Palmeri Adam

Palmeri Adán pays tribute to the great-grandfather of the Cuartero brothers, Don Luis Cuartero Adán, the person who back in the 1950s attempted to create a winery in what is now Palmeri Sicily. It is a wine that has received many awards, and that is for a reason. The vineyard has an age of around 50 years and produces 2000 kg of Grenache. This Grenache is carefully selected to get the best out of it both in its harvest and in the winery itself. Alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation are carried out in French oak vats, fermented in vats for one year. It then spends 36 months in 225-liter French and American oak barrels and about 15 months in the bottle. Barrel aging is done traditionally, in an old underground cellar, undergoing a slow and constant evolution. This meticulous production and the 1500 wines that have remained in the Spanish market make this Palmeri Adán wine truly special. Tasting note: It is a ruby-colored wine, clean and bright, with harmonized notes of fruit and wood, ripe red fruits on the palate, and very good acidity, something essential for long-lived wines. Very tasty in the mouth, it stands out for its classic texture. Fresh and vibrant, balanced, with gentle and sweet tannins. Its time in the bottle brings great complexity and elegance. On the nose, it is very intense with notes of currants, raspberries, wild blackberries, and ripe red plums, and a complex aftertaste with balsamic notes from its long aging.
