Geology and Soil:
Vineyards from his estate carefully tended, grown in special areas of the Upper Penedès and Lower Penedès, at an average altitude of 340 meters. The stocking density of the vines ranges between 2,200 and 2,500 per hectare, and their production does not exceed 8,000 kg/ha. Vineyard operations are carried out in accordance with good viticultural practices, with absolute respect for the environment. Harvesting is selective and is carried out manually

It is a cava
It is a gastronomic cava par excellence. Extraordinary for creative cuisine and to accompany fish or meat with complex flavors. It pairs very well with a caramelized foie millefeuille, or accompanying a smoked eel with spring onions and apples. It is ideal with a beurre noir skate, or with Challans duck with chard and watercress. Also with an excellent 100% acorn-fed ham. And as we always say in MadeinSpain, it goes with whatever you want
Making process:
The two varieties of TRESOR CUVÉE GRAN RESERVA BRUT 2016 are vinified separately. The pressing of the grapes is extremely gentle in order to obtain the best must in bloom. A percentage of the Chardonnay in this cava is fermented and aged in barrels for five months with bâtonnage. These conditions give it structure, as well as toasted, toffee and smoked aromas. After blending, the wine is carefully clarified and filtered to preserve all the qualities of the still wine. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Traditional Method
