Barbera d'Alba originates from the vineyards of the Prunotto estate of Marchesi Antinori, which is located in the heart of the DOC Barbera d'Alba. This wine is produced exclusively from Barbera grapes, which are harvested and selected by hand. The fermentation process, which includes maceration, is carried out at a controlled temperature of 28-30 °C for a period of 5-7 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for several months in the bottle before being released to the market.
