The Vegan Organic Trispol Red Wine from Mesquida Mora Winery presents this red wine from the V.T. Mallorca Designation of Origin, made from the grape varieties 43% Callet, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 17% Syrah.

In Mallorcan, "trispol" refers to the soil, one of the necessary elements for undertaking a project like wine production. Trispol Red Wine is body, structure, a close way to connect with mother earth, the one that gives us life and wine.

Winemaking: Separate fermentation of the different grape types and post-fermentation maceration according to the varieties. Once racked, malolactic fermentation has been carried out in stainless steel tanks and then assembled for the aging period (12 months) in a 5000-liter vat and 225-liter French oak barrels.

Mesquida Mora Vineyards

Mesquida Mora is a small, human-scale winery with a manageable and assumable vineyard area that allows us to know every inch of the land cultivated in biodynamic fashion.

The vineyard puzzle of the winery consists of eight plots ranging from 3 to 65 years old. Certified by the Balearic Council of Organic Agriculture, these vineyards are planted on limestone, clay, and red clay soils. They all make up a varietal mosaic where the first examples of foreign varieties planted in Mallorca coexist with native Mallorcan varieties.

With the desire to leave fertile and rich soils for future generations, vineyard management is based on dialogue with nature: cover crops are planted, compost and biodynamic preparations are applied, and infusions of medicinal plants are used; gestures that help achieve grapes of optimal quality, expressing the soil-climate-variety triangle.
