The red wine Viña Cumbrero Crianza, belongs to Bodegas Montecillo and has a D.O Rioja.

The vineyard is located in a clay and limestone soil with a temperate climate and abundant rainfall with long periods of spring and autumn temperatures.

It is a red wine made with grapes from Rioja Alta, variety 97% Tempranillo and 3% Garnacha. Made from native grapes harvested by hand, carefully selected from goblet-trained vineyards in the Rioja Alta. Traditionally made at a controlled temperature of between 26 and 28ºC with continuous pumping over to extract all its aroma and color. Aged in American oak barrels for 14 months.

Viña Cumbrero Crianza has been awarded at the International Wine Challenge, one of the most important blind tasting competitions in the world. It recognizes the excellence and quality of the wines. In this Viña Cumbrero Crianza 2014 has obtained the bronze medal.

Also awarded with 88 points in the Peñín Guide (2009 vintage) and in Wine Spectator BEST VALUE (2010 vintage)

Serve at a temperature of 18ºC. It has an alcohol content of 13.5%
